Bertucci’s, known for its authentic, scratch-made Italian food, was named one of America’s most allergy-friendly restaurant chains by AllergyEats, an app and website dedicated to the food allergy community. From its artisan pizzas and signature salads, Bertucci’s is dedicated to accommodating food-allergic diners’ needs with a dedicated gluten free menu and other available ingredient adjustments.

Based on restaurant reviews from food-allergic diners across the U.S. on its app and website, AllergyEats named the top five most allergy-friendly restaurant chains, including Bertucci’s Italian Restaurant. The rankings are based on the compilation and averaging of all individual restaurant reviews by AllergyEats users into chain-specific allergy-friendliness dining out scores.

“We are honored to be recognized by AllergyEats and its community of food-allergic diners for Bertucci’s commitment to accommodating food allergies and other sensitivities for each guest,” says Robert Earl, owner of Bertucci’s. “Since Bertucci’s was founded, we have been dedicated to bringing the authentic flavors of Italy right to your table with made from scratch dishes. The commitment to made from scratch meals allows us to more easily accommodate individual requests from guests.”

With its dedicated gluten-free menu, Bertucci’s strives to be mindful of dietary restrictions, including gluten allergies and sensitivities. Executive Chef Rosario Del Nero and his team have created starters, entrees and sides, desserts – even gluten free pizza – that everyone can enjoy, but especially food-allergic diners.

Bertucci’s currently has 29 locations throughout Massachusetts and 58 total locations up and down the East Coast.
