Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Introduces New Panini Menu

As the weather cools and the air gets crisp, New Yorkers start searching for a local style of ‘soul food’ to keep them warm. In anticipation, Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen, Restaurant and Caterers is debuting its fall panini menu, which will be available throughout the month of October. This menu features eight hot sandwich options, ranging from classic favorites, such as The Reuben, to custom sandwiches like “The Ronnini,” named for Ben’s founder and owner, Ronnie Dragoon. Whether a steak, turkey, or corned beef lover, there is a sandwich for everyone, including vegetarians customers.

As with all menu items, Ben’s uses only the best cuts of meat and freshest ingredients for its panini. Each will be served with a choice between Ben’s famous fresh-cut fries, a homemade knish or a side salad.

This well-rounded menu is sure to please all taste buds:

Grilled Chicken: plump, fresh and tender grilled chicken topped with lettuce, sweet red pepper and chipotle dressing, on French bread.

The Original Brisket: all the right seasonings, slowly simmered the old fashioned way, served with carmelized onions and fresh horseradish on a pressed brioche roll.

Turkey: fresh turkey breast, sliced avocado, tomato and Ben’s homemade honey basil dressing on a pressed brioche roll.

Grilled Veggie: a mix of grilled spinach, peppers and mushrooms on a pressed wrap.

Steak Bites: slices of steak covered with grilled onions and doused with Ben’s homemade pesto sauce, on French bread.

The Rachel: a mound of pastrami, sauerkraut and Russian dressing on seeded rye bread.

The Reuben: Ben’s famous corned beef, topped with sauerkraut and Russian dressing on classic seeded rye bread.

The Ronnini: fresh slices of turkey breast, smothered with cole slaw and Russian dressing on French bread.

“Our Head Chef, Atilio [Cyalis], and his team worked diligently to put together this menu, and I’m so happy with the way it came out,” Dragoon says. “All the sandwiches are delicious and I’m honored that he named one after me. The Ronnini is so good, you can’t go wrong when you add coleslaw to a sandwich.”

Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers special Panini Menu is available October 1 to October 31 at all seven locations—Bayside, Manhattan, Carle Place, Greenvale, Scarsdale and Woodbury, New York, and Boca Raton, Florida.
