Boxcar is pleased to introduce a new culinary team: Chef Brian Carson and Chef Andrew Marvin. With many years of experience in the Atlanta restaurant scene, both chefs are excited to get into the kitchen and begin creating new menu favorites that pair perfectly with the rotating 28-tap draft list.
Revered by most as a food nerd with an unrivaled thirst for knowledge, chef Brian Carson’s long list of accolades make him an exciting addition to Boxcar’s culinary team. Prior to Boxcar, Carson worked at esteemed restaurants around the city including Bacchanalia and Pinewood Tippling Room and is excited to venture into the Beltline culinary scene. When he’s not in the Boxcar kitchen, chef Carson hosts Cooking with Earth Fare, an internet cooking show where he shares kitchen tips, tricks, and recipes.
Chef Andrew Marvin has a diverse resume in the Atlanta restaurant industry as well. Starting at La Tavola, Marvin made his way to South City Kitchen where he was responsible for their dessert production, including the creation of their infamous rolls. After a brief culinary hiatus, Marvin is excited to get back to his culinary roots at Boxcar.
