ARCADIA, a 1970s vibe rooftop bar and restaurant has arrived in the Little Five Points area in midtown Atlanta. The new retro-influenced night spot offers throwback favorites such as Country Fried Pork Chops over Mashed Potatoes, Chicken Pot Pie, and Sloppy Joes on the main menu—taking it back to basics while adding culinary creative flair to each dish. The brunch menu is also filled with classics such as Biscuits and Gravy, Pimento Cheese Grits and a griddle-fried Monte Cristo sandwich among many other comfort favorites.
Earth tones, cozy leather booths, warm lighting and a cocktail list filled with throwbacks like 7&7 and Harvey Wallbangers abound. The atmosphere will transport guests back to a time when LPs and turntables ruled, spinning old school ‘70s vinyl such as David Bowie, Iggy Pop, and the Ramones among many others of that period.
ARCADIA is located at 337 Moreland Avenue, a block south of the main drag, and offers one of the only rooftop decks overlooking the skyline in the area, with late night dining, drinks available until 2:30 a.m. and free parking. ARCADIA sits atop local restaurant Cameli's Pizza—both of which are owned and operated by its namesake, George Cameli.
"You won't have to Google anything on the ARCADIA menu to find out what it is. Come in, enjoy, soak it up," Carmeli says.
Originally started in 1996 by brothers Joe and George Cameli, Cameli's Pizza began making its brand of pizza in its first location at 699 Ponce de Leon Ave within Ford Factory Square, then branched off with its second location in 2012.
