Applebee's is satisfying fans' taste buds with a selection of popular dishes, including the Quesadilla Burger, Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp and Grilled Chicken Wonton Taco Appetizers. The 2 for $20 menu offers a variety of 12 tasty choices, allowing guests to choose one appetizer and two full-size entrées for the combined price of $20.
The Quesadilla Burger—cooked with fresh, never frozen, USDA inspected ground chuck and freshly prepared Pico de Gallo—is now available as part of the Applebee's 2 for $20 menu.
To decide on this year's featured fare, the brand took to social media to poll fans on their favorite menu items. After identifying the most popular selections, the brand has introduced a "Fan Faves Menu," featuring vibrant American food that pair deliciously with Applebee's beverages and desserts for a complete satisfying meal.
"The 2 for $20 menu is a great opportunity for our guests to mix up their choices and try new flavors, so it's important to create dishes that are familiar but still really 'wow,'" says Cammie Spillyards-Schaefer, Applebee's executive chef. "From carefully selecting the best ingredients to preparing them in-house daily, this menu features unique flavor profiles that are favorites of our fans."
The Quesadilla Burger is cooked with fresh, never frozen, USDA inspected ground chuck and freshly prepared Pico de Gallo, made with tomatoes, red onion, cilantro and jalapenos, all fresh and chopped by hand daily. Fans of southern cooking can enjoy Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp, prepared with freshly sautéed onion, mushrooms and crispy red potatoes. Finally, for those seeking a playful interpretation of Asian cuisine, Applebee's freshly fries wonton shells in-house daily, along with their signature slaw and fresh cilantro for the Grilled Chicken Wonton Tacos.
