Antunes, a family owned and operated company specializing in the manufacturing of foodservice equipment, has added two team members to its sales department: Steve Obermeier, regional sales manager for the Northeastern U.S. and Canadian territories, and Stefanie Eagleston, inside sales representative.

Obermeier has more than 30 years in the foodservice industry, primarily on the food manufacturing side. He most recently served as vice president of sales & marketing with Turri’s Italian Foods, a privately held manufacturer of specialty frozen pasta. A graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in communications, Obermeier brings demonstrated leadership skills and significant sales experience.

Eagleston previously worked for Sales Empowerment Group, serving as an outsourced business development representative for Antunes for the past year. In that position, she generated leads and set appointments for the Antunes sales managers, and her current role, she will be integral in deepening Antunes’ relationships with current key accounts. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University.

“These are great hires for our company—Stefanie has already proven herself to be a valuable asset through the work she’s accomplished over the past year, and we are pleased to have an industry leader of Steve’s caliber join our sales management team,” said Daniel Schmidt, director of sales. “Adding them to the Antunes team only further equips us to meet the needs of our current and future customers.”

Obermeier will be joining the Antunes team at the upcoming NAFEM Show in Orlando, February 9 to11 (Booth #1868).
