The breakthrough “NextGen Casual” brand that has reimagined the brunch experience for raving fans across the nation, has opened four new locations in December and January.

Known for its chef-inspired dishes with an artisanal flair that are “craveably” delicious, and mixologist-hosted full bars serving today’s trending tastes, Another Broken Egg Cafe is now pleasing brunchtime palates in Gilbert, Arizona; Columbus and Sandusky, Ohio; as well as Port Orange, Florida.

The franchised Gilbert location is the first cafe for Another Broken Egg Cafe in Arizona. Steve Christensen and Reid Richards, the talented ownership team that brought the brand to the state, opened the new brunch destination in a popular dining, shopping and entertainment center within the attractive Phoenix suburb. They bring extensive multi-brand and multi-unit restaurant ownership and operations experience to growing the Another Broken Egg Cafe brand in the area.

Additionally, recent Columbus and Sandusky cafe openings bring the total number of cafes in Ohio to 7, spread across the southern, central and northern sections of the state, from Cincinnati to Cleveland. Morning Chef, LLC, the franchise owner and operator group of 4 Another Broken Egg Café locations in the region, opened these latest two cafes.

Demonstrating the company’s commitment to continued expansion through corporate-owned, corporate-run units, it also just opened in Port Orange, Fla. It is the first in Volusia County for Another Broken Egg Cafe and the 21st cafe in the state.

“Momentum is on our side…there are waitlists to get into our restaurants because demand is so strong for our brunch experience. When you have incredibly powerful guest appeal, franchisee interest follows and that’s exactly what is happening now,” said Jeff Sturgis, Chief Development Officer at Another Broken Egg Cafe. “We’re firing on all cylinders and opening these four locations with immediate popularity is further proof of traction we’re gaining.”

In addition to the four recent openings, Another Broken Egg Cafe, which is the largest, actively franchising brand in the brunch-sector, welcomed ten new cafes to its system in 2021.

This year, up to 18 locations in total throughout the United States are planned to open. The recent growth reflects Another Broken Egg’s most updated prototype, which features a warm, yet lively and modernized environment where food and beverages, including a full bar and specialty mimosas and bloody marys, come together to create a highly attractive environment. Plus, the new cafes offer carry-out and delivery options, as well as small and large group catering. To-go order staging and pick-up areas for focused handling of all online orders support these incremental revenue opportunities and guest channels.

Cafes feature a menu that is loaded with fresh ingredients, creative recipes and seasonal features — from traditional Southern favorites like Shrimp ‘N Grits or Crab Cakes & Fried Green Tomatoes, to sweet temptations like Bourbon Street Pancakes or a Cinnamon Roll French Toast that’s to die for — Another Broken Egg creates an indulgent brunch experience for its guests.

Operating between the hours of 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., Another Broken Egg crafts chef-inspired dishes that are made fresh and made with creativity.
