Alto-Shaam, a recognized leader and innovator in the global foodservice equipment industry, continues to support customers in the US and internationally as it looks to carry out its role as an essential business in helping to keep other essential workers and populations supplied with fresh, high quality food.

The business is working very closely with convenience stores and other retailers, as well as restaurant owners and professionals in the hospital and healthcare sectors to ensure they have the equipment they need to ensure that high quality, hot food is always available.

Alto-Shaam is also ensuring that its culinary chefs are on-hand to provide expert advice on introducing new menus and testing new products, and in making the most of the equipment already installed. The Technical Support team is similarly still engaged, working closely with its Authorized Service Network to minimize equipment downtime and ensure a steady supply of spare parts.

Crucially, its production facility in Wisconsin continues to manufacture the full range of kitchen equipment solutions, including hot holding equipment and exclusive Vector® Multi-Cook Ovens, all of which are very easy to install and even easier to operate – both factors of particular benefit in these challenging times.

Alto-Shaam continues to maintain its QuickShip program for same day/next day shipping on its most popular product models in select regions.

Alto-Shaam President and Chief Operating Officer Steve Maahs says that in the difficult weeks ahead, the focus is the health and safety of employees and keeping customers supplied with the support they need: “As a family-owned business, we believe it’s important to come together as a family during this global pandemic for our customers, partners and employees. Our products support healthcare facilities, grocery stores, convenience stores, public service agencies, and more. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue production and support for these essential businesses and other customers, as they work to feed our everyday heroes and their communities.”
