Wait-free dining app Allset is launching a bot to enable people in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and New York City to book tables and pre-order food at the best local restaurants without downloading the Allset app, directly from Facebook Messenger on their phones and computers.

Allset releases their bot after successfully launching their app at 180 restaurants in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and NYC. The team believes that the bot will allow more people to use Allset for a wait-free dining experience at local restaurants.

What a user can do with the Allset bot:

Find a place for lunch nearby; Book a table for a party up to 6 people for today or tomorrow; Choose from 10 hand-curated meals for lunch; Order and pay for meals before arrival; Send a comment or special instruction to a restaurant.

Allset is the first table booking plus food pre-ordering bot for Facebook Messenger. Unlike bots of Burger King and Wingstop that offer only a takeout at chain spots, Allset allows to make lunch reservations for a dine-in at the best local restaurants.

Allset is launching their bot on Facebook Messenger, but not limited to this platform. The team aims to launch a Slack bot next, which will help them better serve their corporate clients.

Right now Allset is available in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and NYC but adding more cities in the near future.

“Unlike other bots we’ve seen so far, Allset bot requires less effort than ordering through the native app. Allset bot offers more personalized options of restaurants and meals so you simply spend less time choosing where and what to eat,” says Stas Matviyenko, CEO Allset.

“We want to bring lunch reservations directly to where people spending a lot of time chatting with friends and colleagues. Facebook created a great opportunity for us to offer a cross-platform service to our users available both on their phones and computers,” he adds.
