Agave & Rye, a modern Tequila and Bourbon Hall, with its initial roots in Covington, Kentucky, will bring its unique menu and dining experience to Indianapolis, Indiana – it’s second venture into “The Crossroads of America.” The restaurant will open in the neighborhood of CityWay this fall, 2021. Each opening marks the continuation of aggressive expansion, brought to life by independent restaurateurs Yavonne and Wade Sarber, and now, Indianapolis diners will be able to experience their vision to bring Agave & Rye to those in need of an adventurous escape.
Each restaurant has an aesthetic that is unique to its location, blending the energy of Agave & Rye and the culture of the city together into one epic experience. Agave & Rye’s concept walks an intriguing line between fine art and street art, which gives it the feel of “urban grunge” with an eclectic mix of music that spans everything from 80’s pop hits to today’s essential tracks.

The menu itself sets Agave & Rye apart from the traditional restaurant with street favorites, as well as epic tacos – such as “The Crown Jewel”, featuring truffle mac n’ cheese and lobster, and the “Swipe Right,” featuring honey lime grilled chicken, sweet & spicy bacon and aged white cheddar. Signature craft cocktails offer a mix of modern and traditional, from Jalapeño Pineapple Margaritas to Mango Habanero, Bourbon Slushees. Fresh, made-from-scratch recipes with only the best ingredients available offer inventive ways for guests to enjoy expertly crafted food, bite-by-bite and sip-by-sip.
CityWay is a dynamic, mixed-use neighborhood located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Within the micro-neighborhood, you’ll find a variety of retailers, an art-curated hotel and high-end apartment homes, making work, live and play a reality to residents and visitors alike. Agave & Rye will be joining a large list of retail offerings in the neighborhood with its location off Delaware Street, across from The Alexander Hotel.
