84 Hospitality, an Oklahoma City-based restaurant group known for its concepts that are high energy, affordable and community focused, announced that its popular New York style pizza joint, Empire Slice House, will re-open its Tulsa location on November 18. The newest location located at 417 N. Main Street, is the concept’s first location outside of Oklahoma City.

The Tulsa location opened right before the COVID-19 pandemic and closed for the safety of staff and patrons. Empire Tulsa will be open for dine in or take-out, with the restaurant adhering to all safety protocols and social distancing guidelines.

“We never dreamt our homecoming would’ve been to open for five days then close for eight plus months,” says 84 Hospitality CEO and Founder Rachel Cope. “We’ve learned a lot about ourselves in this downtime and I truly believe the Empire you’ll visit now is more efficient — Though the pizza and vibe are just as great as ever!  We look forward to being part of the downtown Tulsa community again and appreciate all of our fans who have kept supporting us along the way.”

Empire Slice House’s signature pies like the Notorious P.I.G. with pepperoni, house Italian sausage, bacon and Canadian bacon, Ghostface Killah with ghost chili marinara, pepperoni, poblano and BBQ chips, and the Figgy Stardust with basil & almond pesto, marinated mozzarella, roasted chicken, baked ham, and figs will be available at the Tulsa location, along with signature cocktails and an extensive beer menu.

Empire Slice House, located in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, is a casual, New York-style pizza joint serving pies and slices.  In a space inspired by 90’s hip hop, menu items are aptly named, with pizzas like the Ghostface Killah and Notorious P.I.G. Named Independent Pizzeria of the Year in 2018 by Pizza Today, Empire Slice House now has a cult-following and a “sidekick”: Empire Slice Shop.
