On August 29, Joe and Mac Boumaroun, brothers and restaurateurs best known for bringing Aladdin’s Eatery to Chicago, unveiled the city’s newest gourmet dining establishment, 25 Degrees, an upscale burger and wine bar. Located in Chicago’s flourishing River North neighborhood, 25 Degrees puts a different twist on the traditional burger joint with the promise of an extraordinarily indulgent dining experience.

“We are thrilled to be opening 25 Degrees in Chicago and giving locals an opportunity to taste some fantastic burgers,” says owner Mac Boumaroun. “We’re excited about creating an atmosphere where people will feel just as comfortable coming in for a cocktail or a glass of wine as they would for a full, indulgent meal.”

Named for the difference in temperatures between a medium-rare and a well-done burger, 25 Degrees will be a relaxed yet elegant gathering spot focused on premium burgers. Executive Chef/Founder Tim Goodell, named a Best New Chef by Food & Wine magazine in 2000, will lead the culinary vision of this distinctive restaurant, which offers a selection of signature burgers, as well as a build-your-own burger option with a variety of gourmet toppings, locally sourced artisanal cheeses, and sauces, alongside snacks, sides, salads, and a substantial wine list. The atmosphere will exude a lively, stylish, and sophisticated vibe, perfect for after work drinks, dinner with friends, or a late night rendezvous.
