Texas de Brazil is pleased to announce its New York City location as a participant in the 12th annual Time Out For Hunger campaign.
Time Out For Hunger is a partnership between Time Out New York and the Food Bank For New York City who partner to make this local restaurant campaign possible.
Taking place March 29, 2015, all participating restaurants donate 10 percent of their proceeds that day to Food Bank For New York City, and Food Bank thereby uses 100 percent of the funds to feed the 1.5 million New Yorkers who rely on its services.
Texas de Brazil New York is located at 1011 Third Ave. on the Upper East Side. The company operates 37 restaurant locations, recently expanding from 33 locations in 2014.
"Since opening our NYC location in February of 2014, New York City has been very good to us," says COO Salim Asrawi. "We not only welcome our neighborhood diners weekly, but are also thrilled about our recent growth and partnerships within the travel and tourism industry. We think that it is only right for us to give back a portion of our proceeds to benefit the community."
