Musician Moby announced in a release that he plans to donate 100 percent of the profits from his vegan restaurant, Little Pine in Los Angeles, to animal welfare organizations.

The 50-year-old says in the release, “Little Pine is an extension of my beliefs, so I have decided to donate 100 percent of the restaurant's profits to animal welfare organizations. I want it to represent veganism in a really positive light, and also help to support the animal welfare organizations who do such remarkable work."

Among the organizations will be Farm Sanctuary, Mercy For Animals, the Humane Society of the United States, the Animal Legal Defense Fund, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, and Peta.

The 100 percent organic, plant-based eatery, which opened in November 2015, serves vegan dishes such as vegan cassoulet, and also had a shop that sells artisanal home goods.
