Owner/operator Paul Sikand is pleased to announce the anticipated January 20 opening of Another Broken Egg Cafe (ABEC) at Vintage Park. This is the first ABEC to open in Houston. Texans interested in a sneak preview can support three very worthy local causes by visiting ABEC for a pre-opening dining experience. The public is invited over three exclusive dates to dine at no charge with donations being accepted for the featured nonprofits: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Houston

SPCA, and Houston Food Bank. Donations can be made via cash, check, or credit card to support each event. Patrons must call ahead to make a reservation.

Thursday, January 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. benefits Houston Food Bank, a non-profit organization that collects and distributes food to hunger relief charities.

Friday, January 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. supports St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which is internationally recognized for its pioneering research and treatment on children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

Saturday, January 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. benefits the Houston  SPCA, Houston's first and largest animal protection organization and shelter.
