On Sunday, September 29 from 5:00–8:00 p.m., Pike Brewing Company will host Piketoberfest – a Beer, Sausage, and Charcuterie Festival.

Piketoberfest is a local harvest festival featuring German styles beer from Pike and Reuben's Brews in Seattle, and Alpine Brewery from Oroville, Washington along with genuine Bavarian Oktoberfest Märzen from Brauerei Aying, Alech Schlenkerla Rauchbier, Benediktner Weissbier, and Kostritze Schwartzbier, all from Bavaria along with Bitburger Pils from the Rhineland.

Guests will be able to compare local craft spirits like recently opened Copperworks Distillery vodka and gin; liqueurs from Sidetrack Distillery from Kent; and Seattle's, BroVo Spirts, with German liqueurs like Kammer Obstler, Schoenauer Apfel, Echte Kroatzbeere Blackberry, Schladerer Himbeer. Other German schnapps include Verpoorten Advocaat, Derlachs Original Danzinger Goldwasser, and Underberg Bitters.

With the participation of Uli's Sausage, Bavarian Meats, La Quercia Cured Meats, Field Roast, Tom Douglas' Bravehorse, RN 74, Pike Brewing Company, Britt's Pike Place Market Pickles, Firefly Foods, Woodring's Northwest; and cheeses from Willapa Hills, Mt. Townsend Creamery, and Mountain Lodge Farms. Other vendors will be announced soon.

There will be an abundance of extraordinary foods to sample, but it is important to remember that not all people are so fortunate to be able to enjoy this bounty of the season! For this reason, they are teaming up with The Pike Place Market Foundation to make Piketoberfest an annual benefit to support their efforts in providing medical services, low-income housing, childcare, and other social services to people in need. The Pike Place Market neighborhood is rated as one of the country's most livable and diverse, to a large part because of the work of The Market Foundation.

Join the band, The Collaborative Works Trio, in toasting Piketoberfest with beer drinking songs and more.
