The 4th Annual Season’s Eatings brings 11 local artisans together to showcase the area’s finest food and drinks to support nearly 1,000 hunger-relief agencies. Eat, drink, and shop for a cause on Saturday, December 14 from noon to 6 p.m. at New Deal Distillery’s new tasting room (900 SE Salmon Street, Portland, Oregon).

The holiday market features locally crafted food, beverage, and spirits. Specialty craft cocktails will be made with New Deal's spirits and vendor ingredients, and served to shoppers during the event. Proceeds will benefit the Oregon Food Bank and admission to the event is one non-perishable food item per person. Additional donations are welcome. This single-day event provides hundreds of pounds of food to those who most need it.

“We love hosting Season’s Eatings because we get to invite Portland businesses who are committed to the craft of gourmet food and drink to share their goodies with the public,” says Tom Burkleaux, owner and distiller at New Deal Distillery. “Helping to feed the hungry with our food and fund drive for the Oregon Food Bank is a win-win. It is probably the most fun holiday shopping in town.”

The Oregon Food Bank is the hub of a network of 947 hunger-relief agencies throughout Oregon and Clark County Washington. The organization distributes food to agencies and works to address the root causes of hunger through public policy advocacy and education programs. The mission of the Oregon Food Bank is to eliminate hunger and its root causes, because no one should be hungry.
