Registration is ongoing for the 38th annual Hotel, Motel and Restaurant Supply Show of the Southeast. The show, which runs from January 28-30, 2014 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, provides attendees with the opportunity to meet one-on-one with manufacturers and producers of the products and services they use. Boutique in size, but not in quality and variety, the show provides the same exposure as much larger shows, but for a fraction of the price to attend.

The drivable location (less than a day’s drive from anywhere in the southeast), low off-season accommodation rates, and free show admission to industry members are just a few of the reasons why thousands of southeastern hospitality industry leaders annually attend. The added attractions of the beach and over 100 golf courses are a couple of more reasons.

The American Culinary Foundation (ACF) Competitions are a highlight of the show. Chefs have the opportunity to watch or compete on the show floor for cash prizes and ACF medals. The competitions are based on ACF Competition guidelines, but chefs do not have to be a member to participate. Over the years, the competitions have grown from 12 competing chefs to over 85, and this year show organizers are expecting over 100. Two recent competition winners, Chef Brian Campbell and Chef Jason Hall CMC, were just named to the ACF Culinary Team USA representing the U.S. in international culinary events, including the Culinary World Cup, held November 22-26, 2014 in Luxembourg.

The show provides hospitality industry members the perfect opportunity to source, save, discover, and compete. Attendees can pre-register online to avoid lines. For more information visit www.HMRSSS.com.
