Ripple Restaurant in Cleveland Park in Washington, D.C., announced the appointment of Sam Molavi as chef de cuisine. Having previously worked at Ripple in 2015 as sous chef, Chef Molavi returns in his new role with a focus on bringing international flavors to farm fresh dishes.

“It’s a pleasure to have Sam back in the kitchen,” says Executive Chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley. “We have a similar approach to simplistic, delicious cooking and I am confident that he will add to the quality experience we deliver to our guests.”

A Washington, D.C. native, Chef Molavi has worked in kitchens across the city, beginning as a line cook at Marcel’s under Executive Chef Robert Wiedmaier and worked his way through the ranks working with Chef Nicholas Stefanelli, Chef Meek-Bradley, among others. Chef Molavi most recently served as executive chef of Compass Rose in Washington, D.C.
