Alpana Singh and Honey Butter Fried Chicken will host the first Fried Chicken and Champagne Campaign at 7 p.m. on August 8 at Honey Butter Fried Chicken in Chicago to benefit Pilot Light.

The event will bring together some of Chicago’s top chefs including Matthias Merges from Yusho, A10, and Billy Sunday, Jason Hammel from Lula Café, John Manion from La Sirena Clandestina and El Che Bar, Patrick Russ from Seven Lions, Perry Hendrix from Avec, andHoney Butter Fried Chicken Chefs Christine Cikowski, and Josh Kulp as they each offer their own creative spin on fried chicken, paired with an array of champagnes curated by Master Sommelier Alpana Singh. Sandra Holl from Floriole Bakery will also be offering some of her freshly baked delectable desserts.

Guests will be able to indulge in bites of fried chicken paired with pours of various champagnes provided by Moet Hennessy. At the end of the evening, guests will vote for their favorite pairing. 100 percent of the proceeds will go to benefit Pilot Light, an organization close to all participating chef’s hearts whose main mission is to empower all children with the knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need to have healthy relationships with food.

Tickets for the Fried Chicken and Champagne Campaign are $85 per person plus tax.
