Silver Diner opened its 17th location (second location in Prince Georges County) at Woodmore Towne Centre for a media preview and invite-only VIP dinner and reception. Along with Prince George’s county government officials and local business owners, many of the area’s first responders attended the soft opening. Silver Diner Woodmore will open to the public for dinner service, November 13 following a ribbon cutting ceremony. On November 18, the restaurant will be open for full service.
In addition to Silver Diner’s famous farm-to-table, flexitarian menu with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, low calorie and diner favorites, the Woodmore location will also have a full bar.

By purchasing fresh and local ingredients, such as hormone free, all-natural meats, milk free of bovine growth hormone and free-range chickens, Chef Ype keeps menu items chef-driven and customer-focused. In addition, Silver Diner serves vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and low-calorie items.
The Silver Diner Kids Menu has won national accolades for its healthy items and has been part of a Tufts University research study on what restaurants can do to effectively encourage children to eat healthy.
