Common Threads, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting health and wellness to children, families, and communities through cooking and nutrition education, continues to celebrate its 15th Anniversary with its Chef Takeover event series across the country with a final stop in Los Angeles on Thursday, April 2. The fourth and final Chef Takeover event will be a one-night-only ticketed evening at the Los Angeles River Center & Gardens (570 W Avenue 26, Los Angeles, California 90065) at 7 p.m. 

Each event in the Chef Takeover series features a group of renowned chefs collaborating to create dishes inspired by the diversity of its host city. The Los Angeles event will feature local favorite chefs including Govind Armstrong (The Lobster | Post & Beam), Monti Carlo (EverythingFood.com), Josiah Citrin (Charcoal Venice), Ben Ford (Ford’s Filling Station), Susan Feniger (Border Grill), Anthony Greco, Manouschka Guerrier, Noel Guzman (The Grove), Richard Ingraham (Chef RLI), Rose Lawrence (Red Bread), Annie Nguyen (Super Toro), Luis Torres (Azule Taqueria), and Nick Shipp (Upper West). Additionally, the event will feature one-of-a-kind experiences including a silent auction and live entertainment.

Common Threads’ 15th Anniversary Chef Takeover Series began in late 2019 in Austin and includes events in Washington D.C. (February 5) and Chicago (March 16). All funds raised will benefit Common Threads’ cooking and nutrition education and programs and will help the organization deepen its impact within each local market. General admission tickets for the Los Angeles event cost $100 per person.
