Cinergy Entertainment Group, a family-owned and operated national chain of Family Entertainment Centers (FEC), crowned Top Family Entertainment Center of the World in 2019, continues to find new and innovative ways to use its properties and resources to give back to its communities and announces a breadth of charitable initiatives for the month of November including free tickets for Veterans on Veterans Day, its annual food drive and sensory friendly screenings at all nine locations.

This Friday, on Veterans Day (November 11th) Cinergy strives to show its appreciation for the brave men and women who have served in the armed forces by gifting them with free movie tickets. Veterans simply need to show their military ID for free admission.

Every November, Cinergy partners with local food pantries to organize community food drives at all of its locations. This year, in exchange for two cans of food donated, Cinergy gives participants a free small popcorn or a $5 game card as thanks for their contribution. In 2021, participating members of the Cinergy communities donated one ton of canned food, and in the past five years, have donated more than six tons of food to locals in need.

Every month, at all nine of its locations, Cinergy partners with Variety, the Children’s Charity founded in 1927, to offer its communities free, family-friendly movie screenings in support of guests affected by autism and sensory sensitivities. The sensory-friendly screenings feature brightened light levels, reduced sound volume, and room for guest interaction and movement.

Additionally, for the past five years, Cinergy has hosted local toy drives at all locations during the month of December to aid in providing children with gifts for the holidays, and has helped to collect more than 3,500 toys for families across the country.

Cinergy also regularly partners with Variety on the Gold Heart Pin campaign, with all proceeds going to assist children in need. In 2018, Cinergy raised $25,000 for underserved youth. In 2020 and 2021, during the crux of the pandemic, Cinergy earned nearly $32,000 for the children’s charity. This year, Cinergy has once again committed to participating in the Gold Heart Avatar-themed Pin campaign.
