Tony Roma’s announced that the grand opening of its newest restaurant, located in Commack, New York, will take place on Thursday, Dec. 11, with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m.

With several recent international openings, this opening continues the brand’s global penetration in existing markets and strengthens its position in the New York metropolitan area.

“We’re excited to work with Steve and George Menexas as they continue to build their presence in the New York market and bring our world-famous ribs and delicious food to fans on Long Island,” says Ken Myres, president of Romacorp, Inc., the parent company of Tony Roma’s.

The restaurant is located one quarter-mile from the Long Island Expressway in the heart of Commack. It is within walking distance to a shopping area with major retailers, giving shoppers a place to dine.

The 6,500 square foot restaurant seats 220 people with a full-liquor bar and has 15 televisions situated throughout the dining room. An outdoor seating area will be available starting in the summer.

“We believe the energy created by the design of the restaurant and bar will make it an amazing place for the community to experience great food and beverages,” says Tina Menexas, vice president of marketing and design for Commack Plaza, Tony Roma’s franchise partner.
