George W. McKerrow is not shy about celebrating the success Ted’s Montana Grill has experienced for the past five years.

The CEO and co-founder of the company cites 55 months of same-store sales growth, including two new restaurant openings in 2014.

Ted’s Montana Grill brought its classic American menu and bison favorites to new fans in Hartford, Connecticut, and the Avalon development in Alpharetta, Georgia.

"We plan to open 1-2 new restaurants in 2015 and as many as four new locations next year," says McKerrow

McKerrow believes 2015 will be even better with two new executive team appointments. Nancy Furr, who previously served as controller for Ted's Montana Grill, has been promoted to chief financial officer.

“Nancy has done an incredible job of organizing a group of brilliant people into very engaged departments in payroll, accounting, finance and risk management,” McKerrow says. “She has not only elevated the results in every discipline that she manages, but also the level of hospitality and service to outside constituents, other internal departments, and operations."

Rebecca Copeland, the company's new vice president of human resources and training, is ready to apply her more than 20 years experience in restaurant human resources.

Becky’s most recent experience was with Gold’s Gym, where she had oversight of all human resources and training functions for corporate office positions, as well as more than 600 U.S. and international units.

“What I appreciate most is Becky's strong tie to operations combined with her passion for creating strategies that leverage our most valuable resource—our people," McKerrow says. "It makes her a unique leader.”
