Rusty Bucket Will Open Miami Location in February 2017

Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, announced that it will open a location in the Miami area. The restaurant, which will be the 25th Rusty Bucket location, will open in February 2017 in CityPlace Doral, a new destination for dining and entertainment.

“We have been looking in the Miami area for years and are excited to open in the vibrant and diverse community,” says Gary Callicoat, president and founder of Rusty Bucket. “With two other locations in the state, we’re quickly building upon that presence and know that Doral is a perfect spot for us to continue our growth.”

Located at 3535 NW 83 Ave., the 5,200-square-foot Doral restaurant will have interior seating for 229, including 77 seats in the bar area, which is a perfect place for guests to relax after work or on the weekends, meet business colleagues, or catch part of a sporting event on TV. The main dining area will seat 82 and showcase modern, comfortable furnishings with soft finishes and a warm atmosphere. A private dining room will seat a total of 22 guests to accommodate business, social and community gatherings. The restaurant will also feature garage doors that open to a patio for an outdoor dining experience seating 48 guests.

“CityPlace Doral will be the go-to living, dining and entertainment hub in western Dade and Broward County, and we are thrilled that it will be home to Rusty Bucket,” adds Bill Shewalter, senior vice president of development, The Related Group. “The space is a great place to introduce Rusty Bucket to South Florida.”

The Rusty Bucket Doral restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner daily and feature the great menu selections that have made it a destination for families, sports fans and professionals alike. The restaurant will offer a kid’s menu, a gluten-free friendly menu, as well as Blue Plate Specials available all day; a weekday happy hour and daily drink specials featuring house-made cocktails. Call-ahead seating will also be available.

The restaurant company is expecting to hire more than 100 employees to fill positions in Doral. Rusty Bucket offers generous benefits packages and proper training, including hands-on experience and guidance from an experienced managerial team.
