Beginning today, Red Lobster is introducing a new promotion, Big Shrimp Festival, with some of the largest shrimp ever offered on the menu. 

During the promotion, guests will be able to choose two craveable Big Shrimp selections for $15.99 or three for $19.99.

Guests can choose from a variety of new flavor options like Sriracha, Tempura, and Brown Butter, as well as classic guest favorites, like Scampi and Coconut, to create their perfect plate. The offer comes with a fresh salad and unlimited Cheddar Bay Biscuits. 

Selections include: 

  • Crispy Tempura Shrimp
  • Extra Jumbo Spicy Sriracha-Grilled Shrimp
  • Ultimate Shrimp Scampi Pasta
  • Brown Butter Shrimp Scampi
  • Extra Jumbo Garlic-Grilled Shrimp
  • Guest Favorite Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp

For the launch of Big Shrimp Festival, Red Lobster is also evolving its Sea Food Differently advertising campaign. The TV spots use new, modern food photography that is specifically designed to bring out the freshness of Red Lobster's jumbo shrimp dishes. The ads focus on the individual elements of the selections.

The campaign also introduces a new voiceover that has a witty, inviting attitude. Rather than the conventional announcer, the new tone gives guests the feeling that the food is being described by a smart, funny friend.

"With the new ad, we've captured the pure joy of eating seafood that our guests experience in our restaurants," says Mark Gilley, SVP of marketing for Red Lobster. "The campaign shows our guests some of the delicious ingredients in our recipes and is intended to get them excited to come in and try the new flavors in our jumbo shrimp dishes available during Big Shrimp Festival."
