O’Charley’s Restaurant + Bar, a restaurant with locations across 20 states, announced it will offer free kids meals (dine in only at participating restaurant; one free kid’s meal with purchase of adult entrée) to guests all day, every day throughout the month of August thru Labor Day on September 5. O’Charley’s is implementing its Kids Eat Free promotion to make it easier and more affordable for families to spend dinner time together during the hectic back-to-school timeframe.

According to the National Retail Federation, families with children in grades K-12 will spend 9.6 percent more on accessories, electronics, school supplies and other back-to-school needs this year compared to last year. The Kids Eat Free promotion is timed to help ease the steep costs parents face this year getting ready for the start of school.

“O’Charley’s was built as a place where family and friends connect over a great meal.  With the start of school, teacher meetings and back-to-school shopping can cut into that quality time so we wanted to do something for families that will allow them to reconnect around the table,” says Eddie Hall, president of O’Charley’s. “A lot of our long-time guests have fond memories of this offer, and we thought this was a great time to bring it back.”

With the Kids Eat Free promotion, one child 10 and under will receive a free kid’s meal, which includes a kids entrée, beverage and side item, with the purchase of one adult entrée. The O’Charley’s kids menu offers a variety of choices from the more traditional dinner items like the Kid’s Burger or Cheese Pizza to more unique options like Mini Corn Dogs and Bite-Size Shrimp. This promotion is available at all O’Charley’s restaurants with the exception of the Nashville International Airport location.

O’Charley’s is a classic American restaurant with southern roots, featuring favorites like Cedar Plank Salmon, Prime Rib, unsliceably soft rolls, and unique takes on classic Southern-Inspired dishes, such as Nashville Hot Chicken Tenders, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Savannah Crab Cakes.

Additionally, O’Charley’s has recently added online ordering for meals To Go. Select restaurants also feature Curbside To Go stations in the parking lot, which also allow for convenient pick up.
