The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc. announced it is actively seeking franchisees on the West Coast to bring its interactive dining experience to Fresno, California, naming the city as a target for future franchise development.

The brand plans to enter Fresno for the first time with the development of a new location. There are California Melting Pot restaurants in Brea, Irvine, Larkspur, Pasadena, Sacramento, San Diego, San Mateo, Thousand Oaks, and Torrance.

Fresno is one of a number of select markets throughout the U.S. where the company is looking to recruit qualified new franchisees. Additional markets targeted for expansion include Anchorage, Alaska; Charleston, South Carolina; New York City; El Paso, Texas; Little Rock, Arkansas and Vancouver and Calgary, Canada.

“The Melting Pot concept is backed by 30 years of experience in franchising and nearly 40 years of brand recognition, making this an ideal business opportunity for entrepreneurs,” says Dan Stone, vice president of franchise development for Front Burner Brands. “We look forward to bringing our one-of-a-kind, polished casual dining experience to the Fresno market for the very first time. We’re confident that The Melting Pot will be a welcomed addition to the Fresno community.”

The Melting Pot operates more than 135 restaurants in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico and has more than 25 locations in development internationally.
