Johnny Carino's, an Italian restaurant company with more than 80 locations nationwide, is rolling out its annual Big Crush promotion with a specially priced menu in celebration of the grape harvest season in Italy. In addition, Johnny Carino's is taking a stand against breast cancer during Big Crush by raising funds for The National Breast Cancer Foundation for the second consecutive year. In 2014, Johnny Carino's raised more than $125,000.
The Big Crush menu features two new dishes that will satisfy seafood and meat lovers. The Grilled Salmon is a 6-ounce grilled filet served over pasta and a choice of spicy Mediterranean or lemon butter sauce. The Italian Surf & Turf is a 12-ounce Nolan Ryan All-Natural Ribeye grilled to order flavored with house-made Italian rub of fresh garlic, rosemary, and seasoning blend, topped with Lobster Ravioli, and served with a choice of rosemary potatoes or fresh vegetables.
The Big Crush menu also features some of Johnny Carino's most popular appetizers and dishes at a special price. Guests can pair their meals with a new specialty cocktail, named Strawberry Crush, made with Fetzer Moscato and strawberry puree that is only available during Big Crush. A percentage of the sales from the Big Crush menu and Strawberry Crush will go to NBCF.
Guests can also make a $2 donation that can be added to their check. In return, they will receive a coupon for a free appetizer [valued up to $8.99] that they can use on their next visit.
The annual Big Crush celebration at Johnny Carino's is a tradition inspired by the grape harvest season in Italy that is marked by many celebrations throughout the season.
