J. Alexander’s Opens New Restaurant in Raleigh

 

J. Alexander’s Holdings, Inc., owner and operator of three complementary upscale restaurant concepts, opened a new J. Alexander’s restaurant in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Lonnie J. Stout II, president and chief executive officer of J. Alexander’s Holdings, Inc., says the local J. Alexander’s restaurant is now welcoming guests at its location in Crabtree Commons at the entrance of Creedmoor Road and Crabtree Valley Avenue. Crabtree Commons is the 2.73-acre parcel located immediately south of and connected to Crabtree Valley Mall, a 1,326,000 square foot regional mall located in the heart of Raleigh.

“We're extremely pleased to announce the opening of our newest J. Alexander’s restaurant,” Stout says, “along with the appointment of our general manager, Un Son Ji, who is an 18-year J. Alexander’s veteran. This restaurant, with its unique architectural design for the Raleigh market, is comprised of approximately 8,700 square feet with seating for more than 180 guests. The J. Alexander’s in Raleigh employs an operating staff of approximately 100 full and part-time professionals.”

Stout said that operating hours for the new J. Alexander’s are 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. until 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday.

Known for its wood-fired cuisine, the J. Alexander’s menu features a wide selection of American classics—hand-cut steaks, prime rib of beef and fresh seafood, along with a large assortment of interesting salads, sandwiches and desserts. J. Alexander’s also has a full-service bar that features unique cocktails and an outstanding selection of award-winning wines by the glass and bottle.

“Like every J. Alexander’s, our Raleigh restaurant has a culinary team capable of executing a 95 percent made-from-scratch menu,” Stout says. “Guests in our restaurant will receive high execution levels of professional service in a comfortable, upscale environment. In creating this environment, we use European stemware for all of our wine service, high quality plate ware, roomy seating packages, furniture grade tabletops, commissioned original art and a high level of detail finishes in all areas of the restaurant.”
