An upcoming Huddle House in Carolina Beach, North Carolina, will be the first of more than 400 units open or under development in 21 states to offer rooftop dining. The unique feature is designed to take full advantage of the restaurant’s location.

“This is an exciting opportunity to offer delicious food and breathtaking scenery for an incredible dining experience,” says Lisa Tang, a local businesswoman who signed the franchise agreement and plans to open in June. “Being new to the restaurant business, we elected to invest in a franchise because of the support we knew we would receive. After looking at several options, it was clear that Huddle House was the full-service family dining restaurant that we wanted to pursue.”

“Carolina Beach is an area with a strong sense of community as well as a beautiful beach that attracts a vibrant tourist business—both core customer bases for our restaurants,” adds Christina Chambers, vice president of franchise development for Huddle House. “The rooftop dining is a perfect complement to the experience of visiting Carolina Beach and will make dining at Huddle House even more special for local residents as well as visitors to the area.”

Typically open 24-hours, Huddle House serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. The menu features Southern-inspired home-style food, including signature Big House breakfasts, crispy hash browns, creamy grits, golden waffles and fluffy omelets, all made to order. Other favorites include Big Bold Burgers, Big House sandwich platters, and a variety of home-style dinners like country fried steak with green beans, and marinated grilled chicken with sweet potato fries.
