Hard Rock International announced Michael Beacham has been named senior vice president and COO of Corporate Cafes.

Antonio Bautista has been promoted to senior vice president of franchise operations and development to backfill Michael Beacham.

“Both Michael and Antonio are valued members of our Hard Rock International team, and I am very pleased with these two internal appointments," says Hamish Dodds, president and CEO of Hard Rock International. "For the past three years, Michael was vital in expanding the brand’s franchise business, and we look forward to him bringing that same expertise, enthusiasm, and business acumen in leading our company units as we continue to grow our brand.

“Additionally, Antonio was a natural choice as Michael’s replacement, as he has demonstrated his commitment to the Hard Rock business over the past 20 years and has valuable experience in the franchise and development space.”

Beacham joined Hard Rock in 2011 as Vice President of Worldwide Franchise Operations & Development, overseeing the brand’s franchise cafe portfolio.

Over the past three years, he has demonstrated his passion for the brand, applying his operating skills to make a positive impact across Hard Rock’s successful franchise business, with 30 franchise locations opening during his tenure. In his new role, Beacham will lead the team in growing the corporate cafe units, and ensuring that every guest receives great food, beverages and rock star service.

Prior to joining Hard Rock, Beacham held many executive positions in successful global businesses within the hospitality industry including Moscow-based Rosinter Restaurant Group, Carlson Restaurants and American Express Hospitality Development.

Bautista will replace Beacham as senior vice president of franchise operations and development, overseeing more than 60 percent of the Hard Rock Cafe locations worldwide.

Bautista joined Hard Rock in 1994, and has continued his career growth within the company, from restaurant manager to general manager at Hard Rock Cafe Madrid, to various roles within the franchise operations group with his most recent position of area vice president of development and operations overseeing the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions.

In these roles, he has successfully grown the brand’s European franchise portfolio over several years.
