Award-winning Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch restaurant First Watch announced plans to open its seventh restaurant in Southeast Florida in early 2014. The restaurant, located at 3600 W. Hillsboro Blvd. in the Deerfield Mall, will employ approximately 25 people.

The new 3,000-square-foot restaurant will hold an end-cap space formerly occupied by H&R Block and feature a patio for outdoor dining in the Publix Super Markets-anchored retail center. News of the Deerfield restaurant comes just months after First Watch opened in The Mission Bay Plaza at 20401 State Road 7, Boca Raton, and announced the relocation of the Boca Village Square restaurant to 21170 St. Andrews Blvd. in early October. First Watch currently has 41 restaurants in Florida.

“Over the past seven years, we have gained a strong, loyal costumer base in Southeast Florida that we are confident will carry over to this new restaurant in Deerfield Beach,” says Chris Tomasso, CMO for First Watch. “Given the proximity to our two Boca locations and the success of those restaurants, it seemed natural that we would look for a site in Deerfield Beach. We will continue seeking additional growth and expansion opportunities in this region and look forward to bringing our unique Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch offerings to even more residents.”

The new Deerfield restaurant will feature an interior design concept that connects traditional First Watch design elements with contemporary executions by maximizing natural light provided during the restaurant’s daytime hours. The design also incorporates color tones intended to convey the warm and inviting personality of the First Watch brand and accentuates an open-kitchen concept, which reinforces First Watch’s honest approach to fresh food preparation.
