Centennial, Colorado-based The Egg & I Restaurants announced the opening of its 108th restaurant on Monday, Dec. 1, in Fort Worth, Texas, marking the brand’s first restaurant in Fort Worth.

On Nov. 30, the restaurant donated 100 percent of all proceeds from its private, pre-opening training day to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dallas. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas’ mission is to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

“Through the generosity of corporate partners like The Egg & I, we are able to serve more neighbors in need in our community,” says Charles English, president and CEO at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas.

“We are all very excited about this event to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas and the opening of our first The Egg & I Restaurant in Fort Worth,” says Eric Mallard, general manager of the world’s newest The Egg & I Restaurant. “The community has already welcomed us with open arms, and we can’t wait to become more involved in our new community and to make new friends. We are also very pleased our restaurant is creating 45 new jobs in Fort Worth.”

“The opening of our 108th restaurant is a significant accomplishment for all of us at The Egg & I Restaurants,” says Don Lamb, president and COO of E&I Holdings, Inc., parent company of The Egg & I Restaurants. “We are very excited to bring our award-winning breakfast and lunch entrees to the Fort Worth community.”

The restaurant is located at 8424 Lakewood Hill on the southwest corner of North Tarrant Parkway and 377.
