Within a month of closing its Del Frisco’s Grille in Palm Beach, Florida, the Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group closed a second Del Frisco's Grille, this one located in Phoenix.

"Closing our Phoenix Del Frisco's Grille enables us to focus on other, more profitable restaurants and is therefore in the best interest of our company and shareholders," says Mark S. Mednansky, CEO of Del Frisco's Restaurant Group.  "Although this particular restaurant has been challenged for some time, the Grille concept continues to resonate with guests and we look forward to bringing Del Frisco's Grilles to select locations that are a fit for the brand."

The chief executive issued a similar statement about the November 30 closing of the Florida unit.

Based in Southlake, Texas, Del Frisco's Restaurant Group, includes a collection of 50 restaurants across 22 states and Washington, D.C., including Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House, Sullivan's Steakhouse, and Del Frisco's Grille.
