QSR Automations, Inc., an industry leader in kitchen and guest management systems, announced Tuesday that it has partnered with Darden Restaurants for a nationwide roll out of its DineTime guest management platform to more than 1,300 LongHorn Steakhouse and Olive Garden locations over the next year. As the technology is introduced, guests of these Darden brands will be able to view current wait times and add their names to the wait list from the brand’s website as well as from DineTime’s consumer app.

“We are thrilled to welcome Darden to DineTime,” says Lee Leet, CEO and founder of QSR Automations. “As a global leader in hospitality, Darden recognizes the need to partner with companies that provide reliable and flexible solutions. With DineTime, Darden has selected the most intuitive and scalable guest management platform that will help its two largest brands compete in an increasingly competitive environment.”

“We are constantly looking for ways to enhance our guests’ dining experience,” adds Chris Chang, senior vice president of technology strategy and digital marketing for Darden. “Online wait listing is a feature that our guests have told us they want, and we are excited to provide it to them.”

DineTime currently seats more than a million people per day. With DineTime, restaurants can effectively organize and manage wait lists, tables, servers, seated guests, and reservations to improve speed and service while collecting real-time statistics and valuable guest information. In addition, restaurants immediately gain the ability to accept mobile parties and online reservations from the DineTime mobile app. DineTime also makes it easy for any restaurant to add online reservations and wait listing to their existing website.

Eliminating crowded waiting areas and improving table turns are just a few ways DineTime increases restaurant efficiency.
