The Cheesecake Factory, known for its extensive menu, generous portions and legendary desserts, announced that on June 1 Hong Kong-based Maxim’s Caterers Limited opened the first The Cheesecake Factory in China under a licensing agreement with CCF China Operating Corporation, an affiliate of California-based The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated.

The new restaurant is located in Disneytown, the shopping, dining and entertainment district in Shanghai Disney Resort, and features The Cheesecake Factory’s distinctive décor that is as creative and imaginative as its extensive menu of more than 200 selections—handmade, in-house with fresh ingredients—and The Cheesecake Factory’s signature cheesecakes and desserts.

“We are so pleased to be opening our first Cheesecake Factory in China with Maxim’s,” says David Overton, founder, chairman, and CEO of The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated. “China is an exciting new area of development for us and we are so pleased to be able to bring The Cheesecake Factory’s exceptional guest experience to Disneytown in Shanghai Disney Resort.”
