BJ's Opens Newest Location in Richmond

BJ's Restaurants, Inc. today announced the opening of its newest restaurant in Richmond, Virginia, on Monday, Oct. 6, 2014.

The new BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse is located on West Broad Street in the heart of the prominent Short Pump area of Richmond. The restaurant comprises approximately 7,400 square feet, seats approximately 225 guests, and offers BJ's extensive menu.

"We are very pleased to open our newest restaurant in Richmond, Virginia," says Greg Trojan, president and CEO. "We believe the mid-Atlantic area provides a tremendous growth opportunity for BJ's and we plan to open several more restaurants in this area in the future.

"We have currently opened nine new restaurants this year and we anticipate opening two more restaurants before Thanksgiving, thereby achieving our stated goal to open 11 new restaurants during 2014," he adds. "Our final two restaurants for fiscal 2014 will be in Laurel, Maryland, and Fort Meyers, Florida."
