Founder/CEO and Master Cicerone, Patrick Rue, from The Bruery & Bruery Terreux, located in Orange County, California, was named one of Wine Enthusiast’s Tastemakers “40 under 40.” Leaving behind a promising career path in litigation, Rue started out as a small-time homebrewer. Now the world’s 8th Master Cicerone, he runs one of the largest and most respected craft breweries in the nation. With the recent expansion and addition of Bruery Terreux, Rue has a second home exclusively for his beers and a place for wild experimentation to expand their ever-growing list of brews. With one of the largest craft beer barrel-aging programs, The Bruery & Bruery Tererux's beers share similarities with wines limited allocations and unique vintages being released monthly.

Rue also co-founded the Orange County Brewers Guild and served as president from 2015—2016. The Bruery Terreux Tasting Room, which opened this past July deepens the connectivity to the community, culture, and education surrounding their wildly traditional bière.

Located in Anaheim, just a few miles away from The Bruery Tasting Room, the Bruery Terreux Tasting Room provides a window into their dedicated space for fermentation, oak-aging, and packaging of their sour and wild beer. The facility features over 1,700 barrels dedicated to making world-class sours and wild beers.

The Bruery & Bruery Terreux have received several accolades for their beer from Wine Enthusiast.
