In February, Bull City Burger and Brewery in Durham, North Carolina, passed the rigorous B Lab certification process to become the first Certified B Corporation restaurant in North Carolina and the first certified B-corporation brewpub in the U.S.

Leading a global movement to redefine success in business, Certified B Corporations are a new kind of company with a positive vision of a better way to do business. As a Certified B Corporation, BCBB voluntarily meets a higher standard of transparency, accountability, and performance, harnessing the power of business to solve social and economic problems.

“Receiving the B Corp certification confirms Bull City Burger and Brewery’s mission to be a part of the change in our community for our employees and our customers," says owner Seth Gross. "We strive to educate both our consumers and employees on socially conscious decisions that will affect their life choices."
