Siftit announced today that it has reached the milestone of processing $1 million of restaurant food and supply orders in the month of June. This represents a four-fold increase in volume since the first of the year due to the company's growth.

Siftit allows chefs and owners in the restaurant industry to connect with their suppliers more efficiently, providing knowledgeable insights into the ordering process.

"We have been using Siftit for over a year and find it critical to running our kitchen," says Chef Ian Winslade of Murphy's Restaurant in Atlanta. "We save several hours of ordering time a week, and more importantly, we have been able to reinvest the savings into higher-end ingredients."

Chef Winslade says Siftit has allowed him to create a better customer experience without increasing costs.

With a few clicks on a tablet or smartphone, Siftit clients can walk through their kitchen replenishing raw ingredients, restocking shelves, and checking prices that might drive changes to the menu. Siftit's founders created the platform to solve the challenges they experienced during decades in the restaurant industry.

"We are excited to witness how restaurants have embraced Siftit as a new tool to simplify their operations and better connect with their suppliers," says Siftit CEO Mark Haidet. "Our goal is to liberate chefs from the hassle of ordering, which will allow them to reinvest their time into what they love, food."
