TheNational Restaurant Association(NRA) announced the hiring of JeffreyCaloreas senior vice president of strategic alliances.

In this new role,Calorewill be responsible for the strategic direction, development, and management of the Association’s relationships throughout the supplier community, including convention and event sales and sponsorship and allied membership.

“Jeff is an exciting addition to the NRA team as we focus on coordinating and strengthening engagements with our supplier partners,” says Mary Pat Heftman, executive vice president, convention and strategic alliances.

Phil Kafarakis, chief innovation and member advancement officer, adds, “Jeff’s strategic sales and marketing background, consultative approach, experience representing multiple products and proven track record of building and developing effective teams will create mutually beneficial relationships between the NRA and the allied community.”

ThroughoutCalore’scareer, he has developed and led high-performing business development teams recognized for their strategic, consultative go-to-market approach and deep level of customer engagement while accelerating growth across events, information services, digital learning, and multi-channel B2B segments.

Most recently, he served as an executive vice president and group publisher at Hanley Wood, the market-leading information and marketing services company serving the construction and design industries. Prior to Hanley Wood,Caloreheld sales leadership positions of progressively increasing scope and responsibility at digital and print media companies as well as at exhibitions producer National Trade Productions.
