Oki Golf, a collection of 11 premier Puget Sound golf courses, has named Jesse Olsen executive chef at the Golf Club at Newcastle. In this role, Olsen is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations for the award-winning golf course, which offers on-site dining at Calcutta Grill and catering for banquets and events.

We are confident that he will continue the tradition of excellence in catering and restaurant offerings at the Golf Club at Newcastle”

Olsen brings more than 20 years of culinary experience to his position at the Golf Club at Newcastle, most recently serving as executive chef at Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria at San Stefano in Egypt. A native of Whidbey Island, Washington, Olsen began his culinary career in the Pacific Northwest with positions at Bellevue Athletic Club in Bellevue, Washington and Four Seasons Olympic in Seattle. He brings years of experience in banquet, catering, and restaurant management gained through positions as executive sous chef at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverley Hills and Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza.

Olsen brings a melting pot of cultures and international influences to the food and beverage program at the Golf Club at Newcastle.
