Scotsman Industries, the world’s largest commercial ice machine company, has announced that Rich Gleitsmann has joined the organization as interim president of Scotsman Ice Systems, reporting to Kevin Fink, group managing director—Americas.   

Gleitsmann has more than 10 years’ experience in the foodservice industry. He has served as president of ITW Food Equipment Group and prior to that as president of Hobart Corporation. 

Gleitsmann has a Master of Business Administration and an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a former Marine Corps officer and a decorated Vietnam veteran.
