Throughout August, Eschelon Experiences restaurants will partner with Raleigh City Farm for the company’s third Month of Giving campaign of the year. The quarterly campaign pays homage to Eschelon Experiences’ commitment to being active within the local community and making a positive impact in the North Carolina Triangle area.

During the month, guests dining at Mura, The Oxford, Cameron Bar & Grill, Faire, and Basan will be encouraged to donate by adding $1 or more to their bill at the end of their meal. In addition to funds raised by restaurant patrons, Mako Medical Laboratories and Modern Woodmen have committed to match donations at Eschelon’s five restaurants up to $2,500, totaling up to $5,000 of matched funds.

By the month’s end, Eschelon hopes to raise $10,000 with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting Raleigh City Farm.

“Since Eschelon’s conception, community involvement has been a key ingredient in our business model and in our restaurants,” says Guarav “G” Patel, founder and president of Eschelon Experiences. “Our chefs work with local farms, such as Raleigh City Farm, to incorporate local ingredients in their menus. By working together, we are fostering a relationship that creates inspiration and opportunity. I am proud of our team for continuing this tradition and for establishing goals that help our local area advance as a whole.”

Founded in 2011, Raleigh City Farm provides access to local produce and engages city residents and visitors in the process of growing food in a hyper-local environment. The farm serves as an educational tool to demonstrate responsible, intensive growing techniques with a focus on building a restorative, community-based food system.

The Month of Giving campaign is one way Eschelon raises funds and awareness for their core nonprofit partners, including Raleigh City Farm, Tammy Lynn Center, Hope for Haiti Foundation, and Band Together. This year, Eschelon Experiences’ two previous Month of Giving campaign efforts have raised $7,005.
