The Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group (SWRG) will host its 53rd National Wine Week September 16–20. Guests can expand their palates by sampling 10 international and domestic wines for $20 at participating locations. During the celebrated event, SWRG will be pouring out its support by donating a portion of proceeds to Keep Memory Alive and the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

“We take pride in cultivating memorable experiences for our guests and strive to make a meaningful impact where we can,” said Michael Feighery, president of SWRG. “We’re honored to use this highly anticipated event as an opportunity to donate proceeds from the ‘Catch an Early Flight’ and Wine Week promotion to raise awareness for brain health while supporting the millions of Americans affected by neurodegenerative diseases.”

Those who can’t wait for Wine Week may participate in the “Catch an Early Flight” promotion that began August 6. Guests may sample premium wines, a preview of three wine offerings, for $20 at all nine locations. A portion of proceeds from “Catch an Early Flight” benefits Keeping Memory Alive through September.

Wine Week is all about discovering some of the best wines in the world at a price that’s not intimidating. Each day a different theme will focus around the wines poured during lunch from Wine Week partners Ferrari-Carano, Gérard Bertrand, Jordan, Vibrant Rioja Spain, and Wines of South Africa. Themed days during National Wine Week include Hospitality Day, Rioja Day, New Vino Day, South Africa Day, and Undiscovered Gems Day.

Keep Memory Alive is committed to improving the lives of patients and their families as they navigate the extraordinary challenges of brain disorders. Donations to the organization support Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, which treats patients with neurological disorders.

“The Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health offers a unique model of integrated care and research, including an exceptional caregiver program and an extensive clinical trial program,” said Larry Ruvo, co-founder and chairman for Keep Memory Alive. “With help from partners like Smith & Wollensky on the front line as we fight Alzheimer's, Huntington's, and Parkinson's disease, as well as frontotemporal dementia and multiple sclerosis, together we will find cures for these mind-robbing diseases.”
